How to get bad smells out of glamping tent?

The bad smells in the glamping tent may come from many aspects, including guests smoking, humid environment, long-term lack of ventilation, and stains and mold accumulated during daily use.

How to remove bad smells ?

1. Ventilation

Basic measures: Open the doors and windows of the tent to allow air to circulate. This is the most direct and effective way to remove bad smells.
Notes: When the weather permits, try to keep the air circulating inside the tent, especially before and after guests check in and after check out.

2. Clean and dry

Clean regularly: Use a detergent suitable for the tent material, rinse with clean water after cleaning and make sure the tent is completely dry.

Keep it dry: Use a dehumidifier or turn on the air conditioner’s dehumidification function to keep the inside of the tent dry.

3.Natural deodorization methods

Baking soda: Sprinkle inside and outside the tent, let it sit for a few hours and then clean it. It has adsorption capacity and can remove bad smells.
Tea bags, orange peels, bamboo charcoal bags: Placed in the tent, they have adsorption and deodorization effects.

4.Treatment of specific bad smells

Smoking odor: Use white vinegar or lemon juice to wipe the surface of the tent.
Mold odor: Use diluted white vinegar to wipe the mold and dry it in the sun.
Harmful gases such as formaldehyde: Consider using professional formaldehyde removers or air purifiers.
